Hyundai Veloster is a compact sports coupe scheduled to begin sales in the summer of 2011. It 'was released January 10, 2011 at the Detroit Auto Show, and fill the void left when the Hyundai Tiburon is stopped after 2008 model years.

A turbo 1.6 Gamma GDI was introduced in 2011 Seoul Motor Show. It generates 208 horsepower at 6000 rpm with 195 lb-ft of torque from 1600 to 5000 rpm. This engine will be available in 2012.
The car differs from many competitors because it has a driver's side door and two on the passenger side of American society-related templates. European models will have four regular doors.
