2011 Audi R8 V10



Powered by a Lamborghini V10 power, the last R8 sends 525 horsepower to all four wheels via quattro drive a sophisticated four-wheel drive. The car was unveiled at the 2009 North American Car Salon International in Detroit.

While sporting two cylinders and a little more grunt in the middle of the ship is powered R8 V10 has not too many visual differences of its V8 siblings.

More air enters the cylinder through the air ten large side, to highlight the body, adding a more aggressive stance to match its increased power. The bottom also get an additional torch along the wheelbase, adding extra visual clues that this is the real super-Audi. The changes are subtle to be obvious only to those in the know, maintaining the clean lines of the R8 as orderly as possible.

However, some small changes to the standard R8 includes two oval tailpipes, larger air intakes, half a revised front and sides back and larger brakes. V10 version also sports a single LED headlights and rear diffuser.

Before starting the machine, the swirling rumors that Audi would be the name of a V10-powered R8 RS8 or R10, but more technical "5.2 FSI", the name was in use.

It's the same 5.2l V10 FSI can be found in the central Lamorghini new LP560-4, although detuned 525 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque, or to keep out of the area Gallardo R8. But even if some 'down grunt, may still R8 V10 rockets from zero to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds the way to a top speed of 196 mph.
